Adolescence

This piece was written down a long ago in my diary. Looking back, Im glad I was a good adolescent.

Adolescence is the period of transition from childhood to adulthood. It is the period between the ages of thirteen to nineteen. In this period, we have to make our future and aim to achieve towards our goal or target. In adolescence, if we are in good company, we can build our character but if we fall in evil company we may spoil our life. So, it is often said that adolescence is 'the period of storm and stress.' We are blind in this stage and we do not see the petty follies we commit. Therefore, we must control our deeds and ourselves and be aloof from vulgar activities. Adolescents are fervent or enthusiastic. They are ready to overcome any type of challenge and risk. They want to prove themselves the best. It is in this period that they are attracted towards their opposite sexes and fall in love. As our ardour is more in adolescence, it is the period to make our future and do something that is praiseworthy. Adolescence is the imperative part of life so we should utilize this period and make it fruitful throughout the life. Life is worth living and it becomes worthier if we earn name, fame and glory. Therefore, lets contribute our zeal towards new creations that shall help us to achieve fruitful results and benefit all of us.
